Pan Fried Steak with New Boiled Potatoes
and Thai Original Sweet Chilli Sauce with Garlic

Steak is a perfect choice for most occasions and this is an easy and simple way to enjoy it. Boiled new potatoes and mixed green salad are perfect companions to it.




Serves 4

625 g (1¼ lb) new potatoes, unpeeled
50-75 g (2-3 oz) butter
1 tbsp chopped parsley
4 sirlon steaks, each 150 g (5 oz)
1 tbsp sunflower oil
a pinch of salt
a pinch of ground black pepper
Thai Original Sweet Chilli Sauce with Garlic flavour

1. Cook the potatoes in boiling salted water for 15-20 minutes or until tender.

2. Meanwhile, after cooking the potato for 10-15 minutes, heat a frying pan until very hot, add the oil then season the steak with salt and pepper. Cook for 2½ minutes each side for rare, 4 minutes each side for medium rare and 6-7 minutes for well done. When the meat is cooked to your liking remove from the pan. Cover and leave to rest on a warm plate for 5 minutes.

3. Drain the potatoes well and stir in with the butter and parsley. Serve with the steaks and spoon over Thai Original Sweet Chilli Sauce with Garlic.
